Abstract
There have been many books on Waqf and Ibtida’ (Pause and begning) since the earliest centuries, commenting on the basics and positions of Waqf at Ibtida’, but there has been little comparative study of the views of scholars on this subject, especially the comparison between the views of the Shiite and Sunnis scholars were almost neglected.
This application can be a marker and inducer of the exact meanings of the Holy Qur'an, examine the status of the symptoms, and provide guidance for the Qur'an's reciter in correct way. In this study it has been examined in a comparative manner the opinion of Sheikh Muhammad Ali Khalaf al-Huseini, one of the prominent scholars in Al-Azhar University with the group of scholars of the Islamic Center for the Publication of the Holy Qur'an on the subject ‘waqf and ibtida’ of hurūf al-muqaṭṭaā in the Holy Quran".
The research method in this article is a library method in which views are presented descriptively and then analyzed. The study in all ten cases where hurūf al-muqaṭṭaā in the Holy Qur'an are part of the verse and showed with the sign of waqf indicates that the two Mus’hafs of Amiri and that of the Center for the Publication of the Holay Quran are different where each has used only a common sign in these positions. The sign of Mus’haf of Amiri in these positions is "ج" and the sign of Mus’haf of the Center for the Publication of the Holay Quran is "قلی", which doubles the importance of research in this field.
In this case, after examining, comparing and analyzing the views, it was found that Mus’haf of Amiri's view of waqf sign meaning "جائز" with the "ج" sign is more accurate and closer to the interpretational term arjah meaning preferred.
