Abstract

Abstract
The themes of the Qiraat and their successiveness (tawatur) are one of the most important discussions in the Qur'anic sciences; the proponents of tawatur of the recitations prove the necessity of it through the arguments they adduce, but their reasons are not accepted. Ayatullah Fazel Lankarani is on oponents of  tawatur of the recitations, who criticizes the proponents by stating their reasons for tawatur.
One of the most important arguments put forward by the proponents of tawatur of the recitations is the attachment between the Qur'an and the Qiraat; they have asserted the necessity of a Qur'anic qiraat with the assumption that the Qur'an and Qiraat are united. But Ayatullah Fazel by proving disattachment between the base of any issue and its properties has denied the existence of such a attachment and has distorted their reasons. On the other hand, he has proved through the pros and cons of the issue of tawatur that the theory is not consensual. Mr. Fazel basically considers tawatur of the Qur'an to be necessary; but among the Qur'anic qiraat he considers only one version to be valid and that is a well-known and popular version (of Hafs from Aessem) among Muslims. Ayatollah Fazel's investigation reveals that there is no reliable reason to corroborate tawatur of all recitations.
